AMS (Anti-Missile System) The anti-missile system is a rapid-fire, point defence machine gun that is capable of automatically tracking, engaging and destroying incoming missiles. As long as the system is engaged & has ammo, you can let the auto-tracking system do the rest.

LAMS (Laser Anti-Missile System) The Lams system is a rapid-fire, point defence laser that is capable of automatically tracking, engaging and destroying incoming missiles in much teh same way as AMS works. This system does not rely of ammunition.

Coolant (Flush) When your Mech gets too hot you are able to Flush a coolant around in the internal systems of your mech to help cool it
down. Cooling flush is limited but can be refilled when in the MFB.

MFB (Mobile Field Base)The MFB In Mw4 has changed from a mobile unit to a fixed emplacement. they cannot replace a missing limb or destroyed component. MFB's in mw4 can however be destroyed by the enemy stealing you teh chance to repair.

IFF "Identify Friend or Foe" The IFF signal jammer transmits blocking information to scatter the enemy’s radar. In this system confusion the enemy’s radar sees you as a neutral unit or structure, "Friend or Foe".

Jump Jets (JJ`s) Mechs equipped with jump jets are able to use their limited rocket power to make short jumping flights over or across terrain obstacles.. In Addition jump jets generate heat when triggered. so it is worth keeping that in mind when piloting a Mech when firing Lasers.

NARC (Missile Beacon) The Narc Missile Beacon is a modified missile launcher that fires a pod equipped with powerful homing beacons. any missile fired at an enemy unit struck by the Narc Missile Beacon has an increased chance to hit due to the homing signal from the beacon.

Enhanced optics: This allows you to have a certain degree of Night Vision. But the drawback is, when the system is engaged, you will be unable to "zoom" into a target. Mechs that have this unit, have an increased target area presented when using the Zoom option on the HUD`s Reticule.

Light Amplification: its a headlight for you mech, but be warned if you can see it, so can the enemy,.

Advanced Gyro: Some Mechs can be equiped with this unit, which helps stabilise a Mech from falling down / knocked under extreme fire or from a rough landings from heights. This however does not stop the mech from being Gyro`d or knocked.

Artillery Beacon: This Unit is not realy a Weapon component mounted on the Mech. The Mech has an Artillery Beacon firing module which has limit ammunition so its best to use on static targets.The Mechs HUD weapons displays how many rounds you have within the unit. Once fired The beacon signal will be picked up by an orbital firing station or ship which will fire apon the chosen target & highly damaging anything within the blast radius, including you. " If you hear a whistle sound you know its on the Way so be anywhere else but there!"

Flare Launcher & OHFL Overhead Flare Launcher: Flares stick to whatever they hit and illuminate everything within a large radius. This unit also blocks out Light Amplification during the time they burn & are not extinguished when immersed in water.

TAG (Target Acquisition Gear)The TAG unit consists of a spotting laser that an incoming Arrow IV artillery missile is able to home in on, increasing its accuracy. Only one TAG unit can be mounted on a Mech.
