2005: Crippen Station put into orbit.
2007: Crippen Station outfitted with construction platforms.
2011: Tikonov Accords signed, Oleg Tikonov assassinated & The Second Soviet Civil War begins.
2014: By 2014 the second Soviet Civil War ends with the surrender of the last guard-controlled I.C.B.M. Handed to the Loyalist forces. N.A.T.O forces pulled out of Russia. Leaders of the Western powers called for an alliance of Western nations. N.A.T.O. and the European Common Market were dissolved in favour of the New Western Alliance. Soviet and various other political groups meet at Kiev. This represented the formally dissolved USSR and create seven new independent Russian States in a loose confederation. They were:
•The Democratic Republic of European Russia (the Ukraine, Byelorussia, Moldavia, )
•The People's Union of Kazakh
•The Islamic Republic or Turkmen
•The Soviet Socialist Republic
•The Democracy of Yakut
•The Magadan Socialist Republic
•The Confederation of Free Orient Peoples
These states begin a 10yr period of probation, after which the Western Alliance would consider making them members.
2015: Alliance World Parliament was formed.
2016: Western Alliance Space Command was formed.
2017: A.S Altair launched.
2018: While working on a prototype fusion reactor at Stanford University, Professor’s Thomas Kearny and Takayoshi Fuchida noticed anomalies inconsistent with the current known laws of physics. The scientists published "What Happened to the Universe When Einstein Wasn't Looking" in the September issue of The Western Alliance Journal of Theoretical Physics.
2019: Kearny and Fuchida published "Einstein's Theories ; The Cooked And the Raw."
2020: First full scale fusion reactor was completed by a team of Harvard and M.I.T engineers and the General Motors Corporation. The reactor exceeded their expectations. Kearny and Fuchida the published their paper entitled; "Now What ?."
2021: Kearny and Fuchida published "Pan Dimensionality." Other scientists consider the contents of these papers to be amusing and the contents as ludicrous as their titles. The two scientists were laughed out of their profession.

• Professor Fuchida marries Katherine Kurita. The descendants of this marriage would rule one of the largest and powerful interstellar realms.

• General Motors patents the first fusion reactor.

2022: China, the Hong Kong Collective, and the recently combined Korean States announce their intention to form the Asian Co`Prosperity Sphere (ACPS). This action is seen as a direct threat action to the Western Alliance. Both sides actively court Japan, the one country that could make the ACPS a rival to the Alliance.

2023: January : The ACPS announces a naval blockade of Japan to "better present its case to the Japanese people, free them from the influence of Western venom ` spreaders." The heavy pacifism of the Japanese leads them to decide not to fight the blockade unless it was absolutely necessary.
2023: April : Supplies airlifted from the Western Alliance are insufficient to make up for the effects of the ACPS blockade. The Japanese government collapses. The Emperor of Japan assumes temporary control and imposes rationing and he requests the assistance of the Western Alliance.
2023: May : The First Western Alliance relief convoy leaves Pearl Harbour. It is composed of ships from both the U.S. and the Free Soviet Nations. The ACPS says it will not back down. The Chinese cruiser Iron Flower runs over a surfaced Western Alliance submarine that had been scouting for the relief convoy. The submarine, the USS Bremerton, sinks with all hands. Two Japanese destroyers closest to the scene, challenged the Iron Flower and ordered it’s surrender. The Chinese cruiser opens fire and sinks the Akagi, before its own Skuttling. The Japanese public sides with the Western Alliance and Emperor frees the Japanese Defence forces from its strict rules of engagement. The defences force begins military actions against the blockading ships of the ACPS. The relief convoy enters Tokyo Harbour. Western Alliance forces in the Free Russian States and in the member states of India are placed on a war alert. With this, the Japanese launch an intensive diplomatic effort to keep the peace.
2024: The Osaka Agreement is announced. The accord provides for the entry of Japan, China, and the Korean States into the Western Alliance, with the proviso that they retain the power to resolve some regional questions without need for Alliance approval. The Western Alliance accepts Japan, China, the Korean States, and the seven Russian States as members. Takayoshi Fuchida, his credibility as a physicist destroyed by his controversial work, returns in disgrace to Japan. He and his wife, Katherine Kurita, set up a small stationery and origami supply shop in the poorer section of Tokyo.
2026: First fully working fusion drive developed.
2027: The AS Columbia, a fusion powered spacecraft, voyages to Mars.
2028: Magellan Project initiated.
2030: Magellan One launched.
2038: Takayoshi Fuchida dies.
2047: Thomas Kearny dies.
2050: Alliance has established scientific outposts throughout the solar system. Private corporations begin to establish commercial colonies in space, resulting in research for better materials and smaller portable
fusion reactors. Long range space probes launched to nearby stars. Several habitable worlds are discovered.
2086: Western Alliance becomes the Terran Alliance, with 120 member states.
2102: Faster than light star drives were developed based on Kearny & Fuchida research. The Jump-ship is invented but the cost of the project causes great civil unrest.
2103: Deimos Project was authorized.
2107: First hyper-spatial jump was made.
2108: Raymond Bache` becomes first human to experience the hyper-spatial jump, T.A.S. Pathfinder makes jump to Tau Ceti.
2110: First scientific outpost outside Sol system established.
2112: Research outpost established on New Earth (Tau Ceti).
2116: Following commercial production of FTL spacecraft, TAS Ark launched. Establishes the first permanent colony on Tau Alpha Ceti named New Earth.
2120: The Terran Space Navy created.
2122: TAS Charger launched.
2128: The Liberator miss-jumps, and the Colonization Procedure Referendum passed.
2168: First Alliance Grand Survey was initiated.
2172: First Alliance Grand Survey was completed showing more than 100 colonized worlds.
2177: Tikonov settled. Rudolph Ryan invents the Ice-ship to solve water shortage problems.
2182: Liao cleansing actions begin.
2188: Elias Liao leaves Terra, Cleansing actions end.
2189: Cynthiana settled.
2193: The Chesterton Trade League was founded.
2202: Elias Liao dies, Cynthiana's name changed to Liao, Victor Liao was named Governor of Liao.
2213: New Avalon settled.
2225: The Korvin Doctrine established.
2235: The Tamar Pact was formed, Alliance Grand Survey of Inhabited Planets conducted showing more than 600 worlds settled. After an 18 month war it is clear that the Terran government lacks the resources
necessary to crush the rebellion.
2236: Denebola and Freedom declare themselves independent, and the Outer Reaches Rebellion begins.
2237: The Alliance Liberal Party comes to power, New Avalon Grain Rebellion.
2238: Marik declares independence, Charles Marik forms the Republic of Marik, & the Outer Reaches Rebellion ends.
2239: The Covenant of New Avalon ratified, Jason Hasek voted first Prime Minister of New Avalon.

2241: Marik Constitution passed at Constitutional Convention of Republic of Marik, Oriente declares independence, Tomas Allison founds Federation of Oriente.
2242: Terran government makes Demarcation Declaration which grants independence to all of its colony worlds. Soon the boundary of Terran space shrinks to a 30 light year radius. Exodus begins as people begin migrating to escape the unrest on Earth.

2314: Civil war on Terra causes the collapse of the Terran Alliance. McKenna intervenes with the spaceborne forces to stop the fighting and founds the Terran Hegemony under his leadership. He successfully reunites many of the Alliance worlds. Grant Zoli is murdered.

2412: After the battle of Tintavel results in thousands of civilian casualties, representatives of the states meet to formulate and sign the Ares conventions, a set of rules for warfare. Though the Ares conventions reduce the damages of war, they also cement war as a way of life, and a method of settling even the smallest disputes. 3059: In the wake of the bloodless victory at Coventry, Steiner-Davion proposed that the Inner Sphere powers assemble a united force and take the war to the Clans. The leaders of the Inner Sphere greeted this proposal enthusiastically and, on 3 October 3058, the leaders of every Inner Sphere power assembled on the world of Tharkad to formally discuss the matter. During that meeting, Precentor Martial Anastasius Focht proposed that the leaders form a united front to face the Clans by creating a unified political body and a coalition military force. The assembled leaders agreed and took the historic step of drafting a new Star League Constitution. Sun-Tzu Liao, Chancellor of the Capellan Confederation, was appointed to the ceremonial post of First Lord. His selection symbolically raised him to equal status with the leaders of the larger and more powerful Great Houses, and served as a strong show of Inner Sphere solidarity. Almost immediately, the House leaders and their strategists began to devise an ambitious plan to claim the offensive in the war against the Clans. Thus was born Operation Bulldog, a massive offensive to drive Clan's Smoke Jaguar from the Inner Sphere. Operation Bulldog was a complete success and by 18 September 3059, every Smoke Jaguar world in the former occupation world was pacified by an SLDF garrison.
